Two Recipe Tuesday - Crock Pot Beer Chicken

When cooking with a crock pot one must remember the golden rule: Anything goes! Crock pots have been around since the early 70's and as time has passed the recipes they are used for have grown from your average chili or beef stew to include such delicacies as Salsa Chicken and Cola Chicken. Recently another variant of the kicked up chicken in a crock pot recipe has surfaced. Crock Pot Beer Chicken. At first being a skeptic on how this might taste I was pleased as it ended up being pretty damn good. The beauty of the crock pot lies also in the fact that even an idiot can operate this man food making tool. Here is our kicked up Crock Pot Beer Chicken recipie:

4 Fresh or Frozen Chicken Breasts
1 bottle of premium beer (crap beer tastes like crap and bottles are better, PERIOD!)
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

1/2 tsp Mexican Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/2 tsp Sea Salt

Place all of the ingredients in the crock pot and cook on high for 4-6 hours (from frozen). Serve with some sort of vegetable so you don't look like a total douche and finish off the remaining beers. The only thing that might make this meal better......next time add in some crushed up bacon.
